The University of Cagliari is a public state university with about 25,000 students and over 1,900 teaching and technical administrative staff. It is located on the island of Sardinia-Italy, in the middle of the Mediterranean, and is one of its largest organizations. Given its geographic location, it has solidified relationships and exchanges with southern Mediterranean countries, at both student and staff levels.
It is a multidisciplinary HEI offering an interesting and complete education through 6 faculties and 15 departments. The student community is enriched by an international mix of students coming from foreign HEIs which increases every year. UNICA’s students have many opportunities to study abroad, in other leading universities thanks to more than 1000 partnership agreements. Additionally, more than 100 visiting professors come to Cagliari’s University yearly.
