The Universitat Jaume I (UJI) has been selected for the second time by the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) to host a student as an EU Careers ambassador. Houda El Abbassi El Kass, a student in the Double Degree in Business Administration and Management and Law at UJI, will serve as the EU Careers Ambassador for the 2024-2025 academic year. Her responsibilities include promoting European Union employment opportunities at UJI in collaboration with the Careers Development Office (OIPEP), EPSO, and the Permanent Representation of Spain to the European Union (REPER).
Houda El Abbassi El Kass, a student in the Double Degree in Business Administration and Management and Law at the Universitat Jaume I, will be the EU Careers Ambassador for the 2024-2025 academic year. She will be responsible for promoting employment opportunities in the European institutions at the UJI, in coordination with the Careers Development Office (OIPEP), the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) and the Permanent Representation of Spain to the European Union (REPER).
Houda El Abbassi El Kass is in her fourth year of a double degree in Business Administration and Management and Law with an average of 9.42, the highest in her year. She is currently studying at the University of Łódź in Poland on an Erasmus+ scholarship. She studied social sciences at a public high school in Nules and graduated with honours. She was awarded the prize for academic excellence for three consecutive academic years. She has a good knowledge of English and an intermediate knowledge of French, as well as Spanish, Valencian and native Arabic.
The tasks of the EU Careers Student Ambassador include acting as a point of contact for students interested in careers in the European Union, attending careers fairs and giving presentations, developing university careers advice and guidance, and organising careers events.
