EDUC students can now register to participate in the EDUC course: Sustainable Business, coordinated by Professor Andrea Melis of the University of Cagliari in cooperation with the Universities of Paris Nanterre (France) and Pécs (Hungary) partners of EDUC Alliance.
Sustainable Business course, selected under the III call of European virtual mobility teaching, with a duration of 24 hours will be held online in English and is targeted to students of the 6 EDUC Universities.
The aim of the course is to provide the participants with a better understanding of the role sustainability plays in the management of private companies and public administrations.
Available places are 60. In case of a higher number of applications, 10 places for each EDUC University will be guaranteed (Cagliari, Potsdam, Rennes 1, Paris Nanterre, Masaryk, and Pécs).
Topics that will be held will be the following:
- Introduction to Sustainable Business
- Strategy and positive business model
- Sustainable human resource management
- Ethics and Sustainable Business Management
- Sustainable finance
- Stakeholder’s analysis
- Environmental, Social and corporate Governance (ESG)
- Sustainable transportation
- Sustainable tourism
- Sustainability and digital transformation
ECTS:
3 ECTS at the end of the course passing the final exam.
Participants requirements:
Students need to have good knowledge of English (B1) in view to encourage the virtual exchange among the participants. It is also required that students have attended at least one course in business administration or equivalent.
Application procedure
For registration, students need to fill in the LimeSurvey available at this LINK within the 4th of February 2022. The course will start on the 7th of February 2022
Applications will be evaluated under the “first come first served” criteria.
