On Tuesday, 5 December 2023, the end-of-year EDUC Café was held, an event organised by the EDUC ("European Digital UniverCity") pole of the International Relations Department of the University Paris Nanterre (UPN) for all the university's internal staff (teaching and administrative staff) involved in the various projects and activities run by the EDUC alliance.
The end of the year was the right time to organise this event, with the aim of thanking all colleagues for their support, commitment and efforts. To mark the occasion, a teatime snack was held featuring typical Christmas specialities from the seven countries that make up the alliance: Czech Republic, Germany, France, Hungary, Italy, Norway and Spain. Between panettone, turrón and gingerbread biscuits, participants had the opportunity to enjoy a friendly moment and strengthen links with colleagues from the various UPN structures.
The event also provided an opportunity to learn about the progress of the various EDUC projects underway through a “poster session” focusing on five main themes supported by the alliance:
- the internationalisation of training,
- international staff training,
- multilingualism,
- research-related activities,
- the EDUC-SHARE research project.
